Sølvgråbein [DEMO]

by Sølvgråbein

about

Originally released the 8th of December this DEMO featured a re-imagination of the Scottish traditional folk song "Èirinn Gu Bràth" (from Scottish Gaelic "Ireland Until Eternity").

Three album covers were made for this release: one featuring a frontal close up to a silver wolf's face and other two featuring the same photo presented in this edition being the sole difference that one had a badge reading "Parental Advisory: Traditional Content" mocking the Explicit Content labels that were fashionable around the time the album was produced. All three covers had the original Sølvgrabein's logo made on a ZX Spectrum computer.

As M. had no physical drums or drum-machine of any sort at the time, the whole drums arrangement (later much regretted by him) was done pressing buttons and recorded "live" dealing with delay an processing issues because of the old and decayed personal computer used.

M. Whyte performed for the first time (and so on until 2010) using the alias M. Graabein.
